Another spot for farming with this build is Plains Of Jarin (Hm) im using this build ...2 or 3 months ago(Without Glyph of swiftness) , but only 2 boss you kill(paragon & ele), and another spot (for those with EOTn ) enter in that fissure and kill those corsairs have fun .Sorry for my english i do my best!

I've ran it, and the "small" mention of attack based interrupts isn't so lightly brushed off as it seems. Savage Slash, distracting shot, daze, etc etc etc. There are loads of things to interrupt those 1 or 2 second casts, and you see them all over the place in HM. In its perfect state the build does kick ass, but one little distracting shot and you're toast. Effectiveness good, versatility not.

Well i must admit i haven't tried it many places in HM yet.....i've been running around trying to beat EoTN and Nightfall with it to unlock HM. It worked like a charm to help me beat Prophecies and Factions double-quick. I've even found that the majority of the bosses in factions can be farmed solo like this, with the sole exception of Sin/Warrior bosses with interrupting attacks....however, those can be relatively easily done by bringing Sympathetic/Ancestor's visage. Also, i've found that Sliver seems to target (most of) the problematic enemies first anyway, which if you pulled a large enough mob, are dead in a couple seconds.

I can farm Scar Eater and Shatterstone with that build, even if i aggro Gaki's and Oni's, which would nearly always kill me 55ing. Either way, i have a Necro, Monk, and Ele......and so far the ele seems to be my favorite by far.

I also tried a 330hp Ele/Mo using prot spirit and was slightly disappointed. Yes, it does work as you'd think, Stoneflesh absorbing the 33 dmg you take, however you have to consistantly cast PS immediatly prior to SF Aura.....The 2 second cast time of stoneflesh aura seems to be the prohibiting factor, since during that time you can take ALOT of damage, which quickly becomes prohibitive. I do wonder if spirit bond will help with this though.....

As for the "Stone Daggers > AoR" comment.....how would you propose countering degen/steady light damage? I haven't run into any problems killing with only sliver......i have run into problems countering degen with only AoR though.

I have tried this kind of build, but I guess I don't get the timing of it.

I get whomped every time.
I've tried the terratank build and I have the setup for the underworld tank build, both are the pvxwiki build versions.

As a fire Ele I do really good but I think imo, that fire Eles are probably really easy to play.

Does anyone have a good tutorial, or some suggestions on how I can better approach learning this element of earth related builds?

THX and GJ on the build I like your logic.

Heh, i also just realised people are now using it to farm destroyer cores in glint...works very nice there, supposedly there's a E/Mo build that can do it in HM solo.

As for Nahpui quarter HM, yes, it can be done, the only thing you REALLY have to worry about is nightmare weapon, but from my experience they sometimes cast it, sometimes don't at all.....and sliver seems to target the star lights first most of the time so get nice and close to them.

Also, if you're just farming for celestials, go from the middle right portal and move left (dont go after the mesmer boss).
